Would any of the characters (ROs + Luke, Viktor, Yvette) kill MC for the better good?? Are they more of a “I’ll burn the world for you” or “I’ll burn you for the world” type of person??

Oohhh 👀 In general, the Morozovs all would burn the world for each other (including Jackal, who would specifically burn the world for Luka).

But if we’re talking strictly about MC then it’ll go:

Ash

Would (literally) burn the world for MC, no questions asked.

Rin

Would burn the world (except for their family 🥺) for MC.

Santana

Depends on whether they’ll end up still being idealistic or becoming more cynical.

Idealistic Santana would probably burn MC to save the world; although I don’t think they’ll ever recover mentally from doing that.

Cynical Santana would let the world burn for MC; the world has not been particularly kind to them and their family, why should they sacrifice someone they love for said world?

Skylar

They’ll sacrifice MC for the good of the world, although not before trying everything, anything, other than that.

The act of doing that would definitely change Skylar as a person forever though. They probably would not be the cheerful and easy-going person they were after that.

Probably would’ve even stopped becoming a Superhero, still seeing that act of sacrificing MC as a failure on their part.

Viktor

They’ll sooner burn the whole world than to harm or let harm come to MC (and that includes his own family too 😢). Everything he’s done ever since having MC is for MC’s well-being and better future.

Luka

They’ll also burn the world for MC, except I don’t think he’ll be able to do so if he had to kill or grievously harm other people he loves and cares about… Which at this point in the story, the only people left other than MC are Grandpa, Ash, and Jackal. Considering most of them would most likely be on his side, I don’t think that’ll be a problem.

Yvette

Now, this is a spicy one… 👀 It’ll be such a moral dilemma for her. It’s true that she’s a superhero… But at the same time, she’s also a selfish person.

And it’s also true that she’s technically MC’s birth mother… But she also hasn’t had a specifically close relationship with MC. In addition, it also depends on whether MC chose to give her a second chance to reconnect or not because if not, then they’ll end up still being technically closer to strangers than family.

If MC reconnected with her, then there’s bigger chance she would help the Morozovs to burn the world for MC (I don’t think she’ll start it by herself). If not, then she’ll simply stay by the side and let the Morozovs do it; she won’t actively intervene as a superhero.

This story will have four main love-interests, detailed below, and one “mystery” romantic option. In addition, for readers that wish, there will be optional physical-only encounters that can occur with two of the ROs and a couple characters that your MC will encounter in the world. Should your MC wish to woo one of the love-interests, they will eventually be locked into that relationship. There will be no poly options for this story.

In the world of God-Cursed, MCs will be free to explore all relationships to a certain extent before making any permanent choice. Until then, flirting is regarded as simply another aspect of socialization. If your MC is the flirtatious type, they will not be “punished” for it. A couple of the ROs may be a bit anxious about your MC’s interactions with others if feelings are stirring, but it will not do permanent damage to the relationship you’ve built.

Your MC will not only be able to flirt with ROs either. Regular characters that you come across may have flirt options that will not lead to any sort of relationship, but might be useful in flattering your way into their good graces. Perhaps your MC may earn a permanent discount with a merchant or pull a secret from a cult member after making them blush from flattering speech. Or, your MC may irritate someone who doesn’t appreciate the advances, making your task more difficult.

Three of the ROs are gender-selectable (and will be cisgendered to your choice). The remaining two (including the mysterious suitor) are locked into male.

Main Companions (romanceable):

Oswin Twinflower

[AKA: Yarrow] (he/him – gender locked)

A childhood friend who’s just not the same anymore. Once a free-spirited softie with a perpetual smile and a penchant for mischief, Oswin has grown into a dour adult. After he came of age, he slowly distanced himself from you. In the ten years since, interactions between you have been awkward or downright hostile with no in-between. He doesn’t joke anymore. He doesn’t smile anymore. There’s something lost about his eyes these days…

-Personality: despite that furrow in his brow that says ‘stay away,’ Oswin actually prefers being in the company of others, as he cares deeply for friends and family. He’s organized and thorough – valuing the predictable and structured, and being driven to always improve upon his skills. Oswin can also be self-conscious, hard on himself, and a bit insecure.

-Appearance: standing around 6'2"/188cm with athletic build, Oswin has black hair that is slightly wavy and kept to his ears, bright-green hooded eyes, and brown skin with bronze undertones. He has a firm squared jaw, which is often prickled with light scruff. Oswin most often scowls, even when he doesn’t necessarily intend to. He dresses in simple tunics with leather armor and boots, and isn’t one for frivolities save for a special tattoo & necklace hidden under his clothing. A few notable scars mar his flesh, each telling a story. His sword is always kept at his hip.

-Occupation: Oswin makes his living as a sort of mercenary (though, he’d insist on being called a “hired hand”), mostly escorting wealthy merchants from town to town. He also helps as a local guard and is very popular among the villagers. Having trained with one of your fathers in the arts of sword and bow, he’s renowned as a formidable combatant.

-Fun fact: loves honey – is terrified of hates bees.

Zahn

(gender selectable)

A sweet and fun soul whom you meet along your journey. Zahn is just trying to fulfill their duty to their faith. They seek to help you in anyway they can, though there’s something torn behind their smile. Where did this fun-loving acolyte come from, and why do they look so sad when they think no one is looking?

-Personality: social and sweet, Zahn is enthusiastic and open-minded about most things. They’re incredibly flexible (in mind and body) and see possibilities in everything, being highly adaptable and skilled at improvising. Casual, warm, and always friendly and willing to lend a hand, they can make a very trustworthy companion.

-Appearance: about 5'5"/165cm tall with a petite build, wild blond hair and round blue eyes, Zahn has fawn colored skin with a rosy hue, and a dusting of light freckles with a touch too much wind and sun across their cheeks and nose. They appear a bit tired with slightly sunken eyes and a mite too thin with the lines of their jaw and neck a bit too pronounced – evidence of years of difficult living. If they grace you with a toothy smile, you may be lucky enough to see the slight gap in their front teeth. Zahn dresses in rough linen tunics, usually with layers to make up for how thin and hole-filled they are. They have a particularly ratty cloak that they seem to cherish.

-Occupation: acolyte of Din

-Fun fact: They may be a bit malnourished on the small side, but that doesn’t stop them from wielding a bow with scary strength and precision.

Duri’naan

[AKA: Duri] (gender selectable)

A demigod to whom you owe a debt, they seem quite curious about you.

-Personality: charming and laid-back, Duri prefers their own company most of the time but readily embraces tight friendships, of which they never tire – though it is all or nothing for them, no surface-level relationship will work for long. They are perpetually curious and casual, having an air of cool confidence and a love for teasing, which can sometimes make them appear disinterested or cold. They are always paying attention, even if it doesn’t seem like it, and often understand others more than themselves. They can stress easily – especially when things stop being fun, be a bit competitive and too independent for their own good.

-Appearance: standing approximately at 5'9"/175cm with a lithe but toned build, Duri’naan has long and straight grey hair, and honey-brown upturned eyes. Their skin is a warm beige, lit up with a bright smile that sometimes shows off a little sharp snaggle-tooth. They bear a strange scar on the back of their neck and are missing a bit from the upper part of one ear. Duri wears simple clothing made from a single and very long swath of blue-grey linen, wrapped around them in such a way that you’re not quite sure how it stays up. They also hate shoes for some reason and are always barefoot.

-Occupation: just takin’ the air, you know, not fishing.

-Fun fact: Duri’naan has a hobby of stealing miscellaneous things from others just to watch how they react (they always return what they take, leaving the items in strange places).

Rūndis Lyreheart

[AKA: Rune] (gender selectable)

A serious and powerful mage with an oddly fervent dedication to the God of Destruction, Casimir. Though they are capable of wielding great power, they prefer to spend their days as a traveling bard – saying it’s for the purpose of angering their mother. They’d have you think they could not care less about your plight, yet cannot resist lending a hand.

-Personality: Rūndis is an introverted day-dreamer who is curious and in search of deeper meanings at all times. Though they dream, they also have a rational side that comes with a penchant for efficiency and decisiveness. They tend to be calm and analytical, but are prone to anxiety especially in close relationships, making them seem a bit aloof or combative.

-Appearance: standing around 5'7"/173cm, Rune has shoulder-length curly hair that is all black except for a flash of purple on one side. They have almond-shaped purple eyes that are a testament to the magic that flows easily through them, and a beauty mark just under their right eye. They have a strong build and brown skin, wearing a stoic and serious expression that you wouldn’t expect from a bard. Rune favors fine robes and cloaks in colors that match their eyes, but only when they choose to stand out, otherwise they prefer common clothing. Tattooed upon their chest as a sign of devotion is the sigil of Casimir. They also adorn themselves with different types of jewelry.

-Fun fact: Rune can play about any instrument you put in their hands, but their favorite is the lyre, which they play so well that many audiences have been left in tears.

-Dov Northbreaker [Your papa]

Your loving papa is a mighty woodsman with an even mightier heart. The typical gentle giant, Dov has raised you with love and care since you were a babe. He’s deadly with an axe, though he only uses them on trees.

Dov is soft-spoken, very introverted, and shy. He has an affinity for animals and carpentry. He loves to create and fix anything and everything especially for his child or husband. Dov is also a very deep feeler and, though the quiet type, wears his heart on his sleeve – easily tearing up when moved.

Your papa is extremely tall and has very wide shoulders with massive muscles built by chopping trees down by hand for many years. His skin is tan, his eyes are brown, as is his shaggy hair, but his beard has patches with dark red running through it.

-Kip Northbreaker [Your da]

Your fiery da and spouse to your papa, he’s as quick to sass you as he is to shoot a bow. This lovable clown understood absolutely nothing about children, but adopted you regardless when you needed a home. He loves you with his whole being, even if he never lets you win at darts. He works as a huntsman and fisherman, and though his skill is unmatched, his looks and demeanor never seemed to fit his choice in work.

Kip may be the compete opposite of his husband, being extroverted and, often, loud. He tends to be the life of a party, and seeks to make everyone laugh. You grew up with him pranking you as often as possible without doing too much psychological damage.

Your da is above average in height and has an agile build with a good amount of muscle from wielding a bow regularly. He has fawn colored skin, short and wispy brown hair, and hazel eyes. He keeps his beard cropped short and always seems to be smiling. He has a love for expensive clothing and pops of bold color.

-Lakota Twinflower [AKA: Aster]

Your best friend since childhood, Lakota is an affectionate soul who would never hurt a fly – though he’d give it a stern talking-to. Being sickly as a child, you were brought together a great deal, especially since his parents are the town healers. You were practically joined at the hip, enough that people believed you were siblings.

Lakota is sweet and gentle all around. Taking after his father, he loves to help others and is skilled in medicine. He’s a soft sort and a little bit gullible, which his sisters frequently took advantage of growing up. He was always closest with his big brother, Oswin, and you. He takes what he perceives as failure very hard, so he strives to do things perfectly.

As an adult, your friend is fair-skinned, with wild curly blond hair that reaches his shoulders. Being almost average in height, his frame is quite lean and wiry from his years as a sickly kid. He has deep brown eyes, cannot grow a beard for anything, though he has tried about every tonic combination to encourage one.

Arthur: he nods, eyes softening, shifting to let MC inside their room. They are a bit worried at first, because they do not know whether MC needs comfort or just company. He will likely follow the Hound in the direction they want the night to take.

Evaine: they stutter something, eyes growing wide. They didn't anticipate the question if they aren't in a committed relationship, and they fumble and try to stall because they are so nervous. If they are in a relationship with the Hound, they simply wrap their arms around their waist and bring them to bed with them, laying close without demanding an explanation or a reason.

Yniol: blinks, stunned, and stay silent and still for so much time the Hound may start to backtrack. But then Yniol nods, very serious but with a caring note to their eyes and movements as they welcome MC in their frugal bedchamber. Yniol wants to guard MC, so they either insist to sleep seated by the bedside or lay down and be too anxious to sleep.

Morien: if it was a particularly tiring day for them, they fix the Hound with a dead stare and turn around, going back to bed but leaving the door open and maybe sighing a bit when MC lies down with them. They are way too exhausted to care about proper manners and all that, though in the morning they interrogate MC throughoutly about their state.

Gwyar: glances back at the room they share with two other servants, then looks hesitantly at MC "I know it isn't proper, but I can-"

But they stop themselves before they can ask the Hound if they can sleep with them instead. It would be entirely too strange... wouldn't it?

Julian looks down at you, trying to hold back the budding smile on his face. By the gods, he wants to tease you and he will. "I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Could you speak a little louder?" He cups his ear. When you repeat yourself he merely hums, wagging a finger. "What was that? Speak up, love." He snorts at the sight of you struggling. "As much as I want to tease you more," his arm wraps around your waist, pulling you against his chest. "I will give you what you want. Just this once."

Julianne smiles at the sight of you. She wonders if you're aware of how beautiful you look when you are flustered. "Aw, you want a kiss?" She hums teasingly, gaze soft. "Say please."

". . .Please?" You say, breathlessly as you fidget with the loose threads of your clothes.

She swallows as the word tumbles out of your pretty mouth. That shouldn't have the effect on her it does. She caves in. Like she always does.

Dylan frowns at the sight of you nervous. Something twisted in him likes that he still manages to have this effect on you, though he quickly squashes down that train of thought.

He takes a step closer to you, cupping your cheeks, lifting your head to meet your gaze. "You want me to kiss you?" He murmurs, soothing your nerves. At your nod, he presses his lips against yours. It's slow, it's sensual, it's tantalizing, it's tender. Its everything you have ever wanted. "Another one?" He murmurs, your lips glistening from the aftermath. Without waiting for your response, he kisses you one more time. Then again. And again. Till you're breathless and heaving. Till you forget your name.

Warren's blinks, stiffening at the request. His lips quirk upwards when the realisation sets in and he cups your right cheek in his hand, planting a kiss to your forehead. He laughs at your pout, the sound throaty and warm. "I said I wanted a kiss."

"You didn't specify where."

You tap your lips with your forefinger, heat pooling in your chest, right where your heart resides.

He smiles, his hand wrapping around the back of neck as he leans in, pressing his mouth on yours.

Aiden raises a amused brow at your flushed countenance. A smug smirk tugs at his lips as he intertwines his fingers with yours. He brings the back of your hand to his lips, kissing your knuckles. "You know you don't need to ask, sweetheart." He looks at through his lashes. It always made you envious. He has beautiful lashes. His hand curls around in your hair, pulling you in. He bumps his nose against you gently, a rare fond smile on his face. "Next time, just kiss me instead." He does give you what you want. But also much, much more.

Mia tries not to laugh. It's cute. You are cute. Unfortunately, for you she likes to torment you. She places a finger under your chin, lifting your head to meet her eyes. "Eyes on me." Her long nail traces a path from your chin to your jaw to the back of your neck, the gesture making goosebumps rise on your arms. "Now, what are the magic words?" She teases. She wants to give it to you as much as you but she won't. Not until you say it properly. Not until you're begging and whining.

Jessica gazes at you and her expression softens. She cups your face in her hands, her thumb under your eyes, caressing your cheekbones. "Since you asked so nicely, I'll give it to you." She murmurs softly against your lips, giving you what your desire. Her lips trail down wet kisses from your jaw, to your neck. She sighs, closing her eyes, burying her face in neck. "Now, I am the one who needs more." You think you hear the smile in her voice. "You truly are the worst."

Heat rises up Heather's neck. A choked laugh espaces her throat and she tucks a loose strand of hair behind her eyes. Or she tries, since it stubbornly falls back to frame the side of her face. "You want me to kiss you?" She swallows. It's silly, really. She shouldn't be feeling so giddy. You have kissed before but it's always as exhilarating as the last time. "You know, you didn't need to ask." She breathes, her voice rising by an octave. "You can always kiss me whenever you like. . ." She trails off, licking her lips. Trembling fingers, curl around your wrist, guiding your hand to her right cheek. She kisses your palm, looking at you, cheeks flushed. "C'mere."

for some of them it will be possible, so you'll find out in the demo. I'm afraid I can't tell you right away because it would be too much spoilers and it will depend a lot on the mc's choices.

Angst! How would the Ros react if after the events of the game and were of course were in love with the mc and in relationship if the mc lost all their memories of the ro, only to fall in love with someone else and not ro again 😭

Lord almighty. At least now they know the MC enough to have a decent amount of confidence in winning them back. They would not be afraid to undermine this other person, but they won't go so far as to manipulate the MC.

Rabbit:

They would be devastated. Utterly devastated. Would definitely try to woo the MC back, and things that just happen to make this other person an unappealing candidate start to happen.

Butterfly:

This other person is in deep, deep trouble. If Butterfly is in love, it's for keeps, and the possessiveness is out of control. There is no end to what they would do to get the MC back.

The Uninvited Guest:

This would be... interesting. They don't need or want love, just loyalty. Feel free to love someone else but do not act on it 😅

Edith/Edward:

That's just too bad for the MC then, isn't it. Suddenly this "love" of theirs is nowhere to be found anymore.

That ask about MC breaking a servant's arm as a reaction to a PTSD trigger had me wondering about a follow up - if you don't mind of course!

What if after the fact, once MC realizes what they have down, they just full on have a breakdown, crying and calling themself an uncontrollable monster that should be put down or something along these lines? Especially if they don't seem to fully understand WHY they did what they did / what was happening to them, and clearly taking it even harder because they consider it to be 100% their fault and what not.

I'm comfortable answering both this question and the question it refers to because it honestly won't happen in the story because of how PTSD will manifest for the MC (more on that in this recent ask); if anything they'll be less responsive than you might think and their trauma responses will be a bit delayed/atypical! However this is a fun exercise for a glimpse into the ROs themselves. :)

So, RO (+Emp(ress/eror)) reactions under the cut!

Advisor Jocosa would have a flip switched in her brain and, without thinking, wrap the MC in her arms to try to soothe them. She'd calmly encourage them to let it out while also gently insisting that they are not a monster. It hurts her to hear the MC speak of themself this way, and she privately kicks herself for not being gentler with MC to start with. As she gently runs a hand up and down MC's back, she would already be brainstorming ways to help MC's outlook in the long term.

Bodyguard Amis would shield the MC with his body and smoothly lead them somewhere safe and private without causing a scene. He would take the MC's hand and place it firmly on his chest, breathing deep and slow, in order to help ground them. "You're going to be okay," he'd say. "Just follow my breathing." His eyes would betray his worry, but his voice would never waver after swallowing down his own anxiety. He just has to make MC okay first.

Knight Elric would clear the area in order to grant the MC privacy and dignity. After ensuring that the MC will be undisturbed and not overheard, he would sit down next to the MC. After a moment's hesitation, he would place an arm on their shoulder, trying not to tremble, himself. He would squeeze it, offering what little comfort he can while they let it all out. Noblewoman Muir's eyes would darken, a frown marring her beautiful features. "Listen to me," she'd say, her voice more stern than MC's ever heard it, "don't listen to that cruel voice inside of your head. It doesn't know what it's talking about." She'd grab the MC's hands and pull them up between them. "You can cry and scream and lash out however you need to right now," she'd caress the MC's face before continuing, voice softer, "but don't believe that voice. It's wrong. I happen to think you're wonderful, and I'm never wrong." Her smile would be as charming as ever, despite the glimpse of worry behind her eyes.

Priest Larkin would feel an ache in his chest, though he wouldn't be the least bit surprised by the MC's reaction. He would wrap his arm around the MC with a gentle grasp, loose enough so that the MC can pull away if they need to. "I am here for you," he'd say in a low voice. "You are not alone. You are not a monster. You are a brilliant, beautiful soul. You don't see that right now, and that's okay. I can see you for both of us right now. It might take time, but some day, I pray you'll look at yourself and see what I see." He'd go on to describe everything that makes the MC good in his eyes.

Spymaster Sunnifa would clench her fists. "Don't say that." The words would come out without her thinking, causing her to blink in surprise. But she'd dig her heels in and continue, "Please don't say that." Before she could change her mind, she'd will herself forward, marching to the MC before clumsily pulling them into a tight hug. "I'm here, okay?" She would whisper, heart pounding in her throat, hard enough for both of them to feel it. "I'm here..."

Emp. Wilmot would rush to the MC, placing their hands on their shoulders. "Hey," they'd say in a soft voice, "it's okay. You can cry, it's okay. Let it out." After a moment's pause, they wouldn't be able to hold back from asking, "Is it okay if I hold you?" If permission is granted, they would effortlessly pull MC into their embrace, rubbing their back in soothing motions. Otherwise, they would insist on sitting with MC in silence until they calm down. They would cancel any and all court appointments that day in order to ensure that MC's needs are met.

I'm just curious to know what Rin truly thinks about MC going for revenge, because I feel like he's a bit reluctant? But also, an heir to a crime family going for justice? (Giving him over to the police after getting enough evidence to convict him) I can't really see him approve that, either.

I'm also curious of what their "preferred" heir MC is, Ruthless or Merciful, admired or feared etc.

Am definitely curious to know how that affects Ash as well. I love my little psycho MC (Definitely some Jinx vibes going on there) but then I get concerned and worried when I see Ash being like "Whoa, so cool! Never seen a body rain blood before, awesome! Whoo, murder! 🥳"

Then i'm like "Wait... No, this is bad Ash, BAD! Blood rain isn't awesome! It's horrifying! It's literally what happens in the APOCALYPSE! That's it, we're going to have a long talk when we get home about Wrong and Right!"

...then later when she gets her birthday present she'll giddily ask Luka if she can try torturing him too 😭

I feel so conflicted when Ash asks MC about what she will do with the killer... Then says what he wants, which is exactly the same, so I can't really tell him not to do the same... But it makes me so concerned every time, and guilty.

I don't want to bring my sweet, beloved firecracker down and even darker path than the one we're already on 😭

Ash and Rin prefer revenge to justice (letting the justice system do what it was supposed to do a long time ago). Probably because of the families and environment that they’re both raised and live in, they believe retaliation against such personal slight should be taken into their own hands.

However, whereas Ash’s revenge might be explosive and impulsive as they chase the quickest way to personally get their hands on the one who wronged them, Rin’s revenge is cold and calculating.

It’s full of reckoning, scheming, and pulling of strings behind the scenes and they’re content to let others to do the dirty work. They don’t really care about seeing the one who wronged them face-to-face and kill them with their own hands like Ash does.

That doesn’t make their revenge less personal though, and dare I say, sometimes, their revenge ends up being more drawn-out and torturous for the poor schmuck. The true definition of “revenge is a dish best served cold”.

And Rin does prefer Ruthless MC in the sense that they both have a more similar mindset. Of course, they’ll still love Merciful MC the same, but being with such kind MC makes them highly protective of them since they don’t want to see them get hurt or taken advantage of.

They’ll do whatever it takes to keep MC safe behind MC’s back, doing the necessary things that Merciful MC might not have the heart to do themself. Same thing with Ash as well, which is why in the Ash/MC/Rin poly, Ash and Rin will actually become really close and trusted confidantes of each other because they—almost all of the time—have the same mindset and overarching goal.

Santana and Skylar, of course, prefer justice and letting the right people dispense due punishment. Although, a more cynical Santana might not be too opposed to MC having revenge as well since they’ve seen firsthand how corrupt and sometimes incompetent the system is; they can’t really blame MC and the Morozovs to want to take matters into their own hands.

And as for your last sentence about Ash… 🥺 They’ll gladly walk with MC down a darker path. They actually feel they are already walking down that path a long time ago, especially since they accepted working as the Family’s enforcer… 😥

I'll assume that there has been some solid romantic stirrings between MC and each RO for this to happen as well.

Oswin:  He keeps looking at it…trying to ignore it but failing. When did MC get that? Who were they with? He tries to think back to yesterday…they didn't have it then, he's certain. When? Who? He looks around at the usual suspects as MC carries about their business. MC is scratching at it…he wonders if it bothers them…is it regret? He's got to stop looking.

Zahn:  *Pokes it* "When did you go off and have fun and not tell me?" Zahn hides their nerves behind some laughter, hoping this isn't what it looks like.

Duri:  "I don't know who's been slobbering all over you, but if you're trying to make me jealous…it's working." *pout*

Rune:  For the millionth time they still their tapping foot. It shouldn't irritate them so much. That damn red spot right on the side of MC's neck is sending Rune into a sour mood. There's been something between them, they are certain of it. ???:  He's been eyeing MC for a while now, keeping to the edges of their vision as he stalks his prey. His mind has gone through so many ways he could use this to get MC's attention - to make them laugh again, or shock them into silence with another stupid stunt. But he finds that pinprick feeling against his heart stopping him. He's uncomfortable thinking about what MC got up to when he was gone…perhaps he's just too much after all. Losing patience, he surges from hiding and seizes MC in a hug from behind. "Please tell me that the lips of another haven't stolen you away from me…"

It would depend; he trusts you completely, so Marcel wouldn't be bothered, but as soon as the other person gets too close or you look uncomfortable, he is by your side. 

"Excuse us, I need to see my girlfriend/partner/boyfriend for a moment."

Marcel's voice was tight but still quite friendly, even as his smile was almost tiger-like as he stared at the person who instinctively backed away a little. Marcel doesn't even wait for a response from the person, as he takes you by the arm gently until both of you are in private. 

"Are you okay, darling?" He touched your cheek. "They didn't bother you too much; I can go out and talk to them for you. Make them leave you alone." 

🧡 Margaret

It would take some intense flirting for her to notice, not because she isn't paying attention but because she wouldn't realize that the other person was flirting with you, but once she does, she is jittery, like she drank five cups of expresso due to her nerves. 

Oh, poor Margaret, she would awkwardly stand between you, hating how jealous she is feeling but just watching the conversation like a tennis match. 

She would place her hand in yours under the counter, worrying if you were going to leave her. 

If you were to flirt back, that would absolutely break her; she would have to excuse herself and go break down in the other room

Owen would just put his arm around you, which would be surprising. Owen isn't the PDA type, but he would be that day. 

The person looking at Owen's size and muscles backed away a little, but if they were to continue talking to you, he would just stare the person down as he kissed your cheek, hugging you from behind, and whispering in your ear. 

Every so often, he would say little jabs at the person, not overly aggressive but enough to make the person get the hint to hit the road before Owen hit their face. 

If you were to give him a worried or confused look, Owen would just raise an eyebrow at you as if acting this way was completely natural.

When the person finally leaves, Owen would go back to normal, leaning against the counter. If you were to question him about it, his only response would be

"I don't know what you're talking about, Lass/Duck/Lad."  

💙 Rosemary

If Rosemary and you are a couple, then she has gotten over her relationship truma, has complete trust in you, and doesn't feel the need to be the center of your attention, even if it bugs her just a smidge. So unless the person is making you uncomfortable or bothering you, she wouldn't do anything besides glare at the person flirting with you. 

When she saw a sign that you needed help, Rosemary would tell that person to get out. 

"Alright, sweetheart, I think it's time for you to go." Rosemary said, her voice dripping with something dangerous as the person backed away a little. 

"What? I just got here. Plus, me and this lovely-" 

Rosemary squeezed your cheek, interrupting the person. "Ah, they are sweeter than sugar, aren't they, but as they are MY lover, I say you should take rejection like a champ and get the hell out before I take you out by the ear like a kid." Rosemary said brightly, watching as soon as the person ran out of the shop. 

The next thing you know, Rosemary pulls you into a deep kiss. "Now that that is over, why don't we have a nice cup of tea?"

Yeah no. That's not happening. Tai would be so jealous, like smoke coming out of ears jealous. 

Insults and berating about whatever the person was talking about would fly out of his mouth in such a way that it would leave you even amazed. Tai would have that classic, stoic look on his face before he drove the person away with his comments. 

If you were to question him about it, he would blush a bright red. "They were flirting with you as if I weren't standing right here; what did you expect me to do?" 

Tai would mumble about the person under his breath for the next hour about anything really—all negative comments, of course. 

💚 Zane

Honestly? It is likely the same as the crushing stage, where he tries to kill the person flirting with you. 

Although one thing is different, Zane isn't waiting for you to turn around before he gets in a person's face.

"Get out." Zane hissed like a snake. 

The person looked taken aback. "Excuse me? Dude, you can't just..." 

The white in Zane's eyes disappeared, replaced with black that matched the iris, making the person cower and jump back in surprise before running out of the store.

Zane then put you on the counter, placing himself in the middle of your legs before pulling you into a deep kiss then.......dragging you to the bedroom.

AURORA: Aurora hates secrets but if she found out that the MC has some hidden love letters written just for her, she would not get upset. She would go through every single letter and then hug all of them close to her chest. She is MC's oldest and best friend so she will wonder about how she didn't understand their feelings. She never thought anybody would ever think of her so poetically. Knowing that MC feels that way, Aurora cant help but be giddy every time she sees MC after that. She would quote some lines from the letters around MC slyly, just to see their reaction.

"What's wrong MC? Cat got your tongue?"

PAX: When Pax sees your letters, he doesn't know what to make of them. They are the meme of the chef from ratatouille reading the paper and realizing the truth. After they are done reading all of the letters, they will sit in silence for a while, just trying to soak all of it in. Then he will grab all of those letters and rush to where MC is, and read all of it out loud to them. They stop momentarily to comment on some lines they found hard to understand or particularly funny/romantic. Pax wants to know why MC didn't send those letters or at least tell him because he would have liked to know about it sooner.

"Did you really just compare me to that? It's too much MC...but I am not complaining."

VIOLET: Violet is a huge fan of love letters. She has always liked the cliche romance. So, when Vi stumbles across the poetic love letters of MC addressed to her, she is on cloud nine. She has always been the poet and never the poetry, that's why reading all of MC's letters where she is the subject of such beautiful lines of art, makes her tear up a little. Violet is a bit mad at MC for hiding them because would have liked to reply to every single letter they wrote but nevertheless, she kisses those letters and leaves her mark on them for MC to see that she knows.

"You should have sent a letter to me the day you finished writing one! I would have loved to return all of your affection in kind."

NICK: Nick is beyond ecstatic to find those hidden letters. He paces around the room while reading them. He can't believe MC thinks about him that way. He swears that he will frame the letters and hang them up in his bedroom wall(and he probably will).For Nick, MC's love letters about him are the best piece of literature ever written. He thinks MC is "basically Shakespeare reincarnated!"

"I am never going to shut up about this! Let me order some frames real quick."
